Fukuro obi

A formal type of obi for formal occasions. Fukuro obi is a woven product and has gold and/or silver thread parts as well therefore it's very elegant, formal. In this case, it's good with every types of formal kimono (tomesode, furisode, houmongi, tsukesage, iromuji).
The length is usually more than 420cm and the width is about 30cm though the size may vary. Note that there are fukuro obi types without golden/silver part and with more casual design.
These are called "share fukuro obi" and are more for casual occasions (worn with more casual kimono types). Fukuro obi is for women.
