Kurotomesode ("Black-tomesode")

The highest rank formal kimono type for married women and is above irotomesode (coloured base tomesode).
Kurotomesode is usually worn at wedding ceremonies by the mothers of the bride and groom (or other closer women relatives).
It always has 5 mon (family crests). The pattern is only on the lower parts of the kimono. Worn with fukuro obi.
