Nagoya Obi

A casual type of obi for everyday use but is a bit higher ranked than hanhaba obi, as you can tie an "otaiko" from it (the obi's main pattern design may come to the back). Nagoya obi's width is about 34cm, length is about 360cm though they may vary in size. Nagoya obi can be woven but painted as well (woven obi is upper ranked, painted is lower). Good for mainly komon kimono or sometimes for iromuji as well. It is for women.
