Tsumugi

A very famous type of woven kimono. Woven kimono are always casual (meaning komon category, though there can be sometimes exceptions with more higher ranked tsumugi).
Tsumugi kimono is made from silk, can have a special type of shine and feel of touch.
There are some famous tsumugi types like Ooshima-tsumugi, Ushikubi-tsumugi, Yuuki-tsumugi, etc. All of them has different characteristics.
